wow...um, where the heck did 2009 go?!?! i really cannot believe it's over...
SOOO many amazing moments, clients, vendors and opportunities came into my life this past year...and even though i have been in the wedding industry for almost 10 years, it seems 2009 has brought some of my best designs yet! i truly think this is due to the rise of the blog/twitter world...i have been inspired by and encouraged by people i never would have met otherwise and i am so, so grateful for the way people have embraced me and my work...
this post is all about the design highlights for me this past year...it might be an amazing bouquet, a killer collab of vendors, a super sweet bride, a unique color combo...for whatever reason, these events/weddings/photo shoots just stood out to me from this past year...i chose 20 total but since its always so hard to narrow down the pictures, i will break this post into 2 parts so it's not overkill...check back in tomorrow for the top 10!!!
#20 - a rainy day photoshoot
#19 - a cape cod style wedding for ann and steven
#18 - an eco-forest tablescape
#17 - a sleek green wedding for rachel and ryan
#13 - a "mod-baroque", navy + yellow wedding for ami and nick
#12 - an "alternative bridesmaid" photoshoot for utterly engaged
#11 - a crisp black and white wedding for mollie and jim
NOTE: these are all things that i have blogged in the past year, even if they happened at the end of 2008...also, i am only including things in this post that i have actually blogged...i have some weddings and photoshoots that i LOVE but i haven't blogged yet since they are potentially being featured in a magazine or online publication...soooo, those will have to wait until 2010 :)
