marisa and robert - hotel bel air

this wedding was one of my favorites last year because the bride and groom were just so.dang.sweet...i really adored them and i loved their vision for the wedding - glamorous, old hollywood but clean and tailored at the same time...we used tons of white, accented by blush tones, mirrored surfaces and mercury glass...overall just super chic and beautiful...thank you marisa and robert for allowing me to be a part of this magical day!

and thank you to jasmine and courtney for being so fab and always making my work look all that much better!

keeping it classic - a bridal bouquet of all cream garden roses and waxy gardenia foliage, wrapped in white lace...

this picture is just so ethereal...i love it...

for the bridesmaids bouquets, we went with all cafe au lait dahlias...the color just blended so beautifully with the nude colored gowns from two birds bridesmaids...

a welcome table with a blush flocked damask runner custom made by our team...

ceremony was really simple with some draped sheer fabric and hydrangea tie-backs...we then lined the aisle in footed glass vases holding floating gardenia blooms and finished it with a carpet of white and cream rose petals...

little lounge areas were set up on the lawn for cocktail hour...

pillows were either custom made by our team or purchased at...where else? homegoods! my fave :)

we used strips of lace to create little "runners" for the placecards...white hydrangea, ivory dahlias, green helleborous and white garden roses fleshed out the look...

frames were hung off a tree and accented with ivory dahlia blooms...

a couple chandeliers hung from the trees to bring a bit of glamour to the outdoor space...

the dinner tables held glass vases of varying shapes and sizes holding monobotanical arrangements of hydrangea, tulips, roses, ranunculas and dahlias, all in shades of white and cream...

every table also held mercury glass candlesticks and a glass apothecary jar with floating white gardenias...

a little vignette of white florals, glass candlesticks and mercury glass accoutrements added to the atmosphere...the large white frame was brought in by courtney toney of joyful weddings and events...

off to one side of the ballroom we created a lounge with white tufted furniture, ottomans, custom damask pillows, mirrored tables and glass candlesticks...

the cake was set on a custom base made by us to coordinate with the pillows and runners from the day...

it was such a pleasure to work with the following vendors that day:
photography: jasmine star
event coordinator: courtney toney of joyful weddings and events
outdoor lounge furniture: classic party rentals
lighting, indoor lounge furniture: level 4 international

I don't know where to begin with this comment, your work is absolutely exquisite! The clear glass is so beautifully compiled, the lace name cards and the flowers. Just wow!
